It would cost them money to give you another giftcard. Perhaps not alot of money, but it would still cost them.

Someone in corporate decided that that cost was not worth it to them.

just buy another gift card with that gift card. they can't refuse the sell to you.

I remember I think it was FS that don't allow to buy giftcards with giftcards. I think it's the same everywhere.

Buy a $100 item and return it .... they will issue you another GC with such amount ...

just buy another gift card with that gift card. they can't refuse the sell to you.

That's what I did. I was able to combine a few gift cards that I had this way. It's allowed, and their system can process it in this manner.

FS and BB both allow you to buy Gift Cards with Gift Cards. Their system too allows this.
