So I had 1 year left on my 3 year Telus contract. I needed a new phone so I decided that I was going to renew to get a new phone, but at the same time I wanted to add free after 5pm instead of free after 6pm on my contract.
First i'd like to say i've "matched" my plans with other plans and managed to get a few free things added on along the way 2 months prior to me going for contract renewal. Everything that was added, was added with me NOT agreeing to go renew my contract (until when I called to get the free after 5pm during the week).

I call up Telus, end up getting some foreign guy whom i can hardly understand.. I told him I was currently in the Telus store about to renew but wanted free after 5pm instead of it currently beijng free after 6pm... WELL.. Right off the bat he told me "no". And that if I didnt renew right now he'd strip my account of all my free features. So I got mad because he threatened me.. Then we bickered a bit and he agreed to add an additional year onto my "Bundle 15" (to bring it to 3 years) if I renewed there. So everything gets done, I tell him I renewed and he says "alright; bundle 15 is good for 3 years." and that was that..
3 weeks later my bill comes, it's WAY over what it supposed to be... I call Telus, ask wtf was going on. He said "Your My 5 Faves National was free for 2 years, you've used the 2 years already and now you're paying for them." Well that's awesome; since when did 2 months turn into 2 years? So I tell him what happened with the other rep and that he threaten to remove them and that he removed them AFTER i re-upped for another 3 years. He put me on hold for 10-15 minutes, came back apologized and said that person did indeed change them on me. He added the 2 years back for free and credited my account. I asked him to check if bundle 15 was upped to 3 years and he said "nope, has 2 years free here." so i didnt even bother to fight with that one... uhhh. Telus.. :mad:
