I use a change pouch. It was originally a cellphone case, but I feel it serves its purpose much better this way.

eh...it's not that lame...i just need one because my keys and a few bucks in change has already ruined several hundred dollars of stuff by scratching it up...i'm replacing all the stuff at once so i'd like to invest in a nice change pouch while i'm replacing the stuff

uhh no. i'm not like one of those asian "gangsters" and probably too mature now to even go there. i've stepped into fcuk maybe a hand-full of times in my life. and i think you have a change pouch mixed up with a fanny pack
this is what i'm talking about

yea, i've seen a bunch of guys using these, not the metero type too.
oh and the one your sister is carrying around is probably a bigger one for makeup and other stuff...this pouch is pretty small, fits into your pocket

I've been looking for these too. I think LV looks the best but quite pricey to say nonetheless. Anyone know store has the same shape as the LV one but obviously cheaper and different brand?

do you prefer change pouch? or coin pouch?
I hear coin purse before, but I say, for the men, it's called a change wallet.

That's where I got mine, albeit a few years ago, and it's still holding up. It's a basic rectangular shape with a zipper across the top. It has a key ring too.

yea it doesn't work very well when your change and keys is scratching up your other stuff...i'd rather spend the 200 for a nice change pouch rather than for the change to be ruining a lot more than that
i'm not insecure that i feel less manly if i carry change in a pouch

Most pants/jeans have a small side pocket for change and keys alike. Might as well use it for something.. and nothing else gets scratched.

"It's not a purse! It's European!" - Jerry Seinfeld
You're a guy, you shouldn't be carrying something called a "change pouch". If your keys are scratching your phone (guessing), carry your phone in a different pocket. If you have alot of change, put it in a piggybank at home and take it to the bank every once and a while.

if it's made for a guy i think there's a reason why it's made. i could care less about what you guys think about me carrying a change pouch. i'm looking for suggestions as to what to get not if i should get one or not. i am not carrying only change, the little pocket doesn't fit the change i get and keys. it's not only my phone, the change is ruining my ipod, headphones, and money clip

yeah.. be a man!
I say... put all your change into a beer bottle and carry that around!
Now thats manly.
Or you could just leave your change in your pick up truck instead of carrying it around (Y)

Change pouch is not that important. Get one if you like to carry one, or for convenience. I'm using a small Prada one right now, it's from a while ago though, so I don't think there's the same one in current season.. I hate getting stuff in my pockets scratched.
And as for all the blah blah blah men blah blah blah macho fleece wearing BS -

can't you just put your change and key in one pocket and other stuff in another?

i have several wallets, including headporter but i don't use them anymore i carry a money clip now so yea...plus when i did use a wallet i carried it in my back pocket and it was kinda difficult to sit since it was so thick with the change
can't you just put your change and key in one pocket and other stuff in another?
don't you think i would have tried that one already?
here's what i'm currently carrying
ipod, money clip, cellphone, keys, and change...i can't carry the ipod and cellphone in the same pocket...sometimes i'll only carry the cellphone and have the change and the keys with the money clip in one pocket but it's already scratched up my clip...and i needs replacing already. there's no avoiding the change scratching my stuff...
i'm not really looking for alternatives here. i know i need a pouch and i'm looking around to see what's available

If you're going to be spending huge on a "male" item (debatable, you know it), why not spend on protecting the items in your pocket? Screen and body protectors are readily available for most popular devices (the Invisible Shield comes to mind) and you don't have to make yourself look "different".
If you're just going to continue defending your decision to the end... you've already made your choice.

This is the first time I've heard a change purse being referred to as a change "pouch"
And if you just need one to carry change and keys for practical purposes, why go all out and get a designer expensive LV one?

the lv one is the only one i've found that opens up like that, and it's not like the price is too expensive like their bags . i've seen some at other stores but they open up on the side...that's what it was called on the site so i just went with it...

Wait, since when was looking the same a good thing?
Not saying that different for the sake of being different is good, but it's hardly a bad thing.
I know I don't look the same as others, that's something I enjoy, not fear.

Thanks for sharing this with the world.
I personally don't carry one. I would find it useful I was to pay with cash for a lot of things, but I use plastic. So every time I pay with cash, the change I get, I would just put it in my glass jar when I get home. I probably only carry $.50 at most for coins. Just in case my cell phone dies and I need to make an emergency phone call. $.50 in my car just in case I need to pay for a parking.
edit: I think I remember seeing some at Winners from CK.

I use a change holder.
It is a nice Cartier (knockoff), leather, square with a button and opens up at the top.
It is awesome and despite it being a knock-off, the leather has aged quite nicely.
I bought it in Shenzhen on my last visit to HK. My only regret is that I didn't pick up a few more.
