Sooo.. finally visited the much recommended Tom's Place at Kensington Market.. LOVED the quality of stuff, but the whole bargaining thing at the end kind of threw me for a loop.
Say I'm buying 4x$110 shirts.. what should I counter offer? He just took off 40 bucks, and I have a sneaking suspicion I could've haggled for a better deal.
Advice? I plan on returning.. :)

they sell 110$ clothing in kensington? i initially thought you typo'd for $11.. then you mentioned 40$ off. you probably could've bargained down to $11 haha.

you new to toronto or just ignorant about the community? there are quite a few stores in kensington market that sell quality clothing

Can someone recommend couple stores to me? I shop at Kensington for food frequently... but not sure which clothing stores I should venture into.
