Yes unfortunately, every time I try and open a document in Vista I get an error message saying the document is unavailable. When trying to open it in XP it works fine. I can create documents under vista but cant open them again.

What can I do to solve this?

***Teksavvy Questions***

1) DSL works on phone line and then converted through modem?
2) If that is right then it shouldn't be like dial up where I can't use phone right?
3) Will any phone line cable work with the Thomspson Speedtouch 516 because the one I received from the company in the package is to short.

All help appreciated!!!!

It is saved on my Vista partition of the machine. Exact error message is "The file 'Review Questions - Novell & Linux' (name of file) is not available"

Need more detail? Are you using 2 boot operating system? (vista and xp) or are you using different Word? (2003 and 2007)

Dual boot with Vista and XP on one machine. Documents can be opened with XP no problem. On Vista, it doesn't let me.

Btw, did I mention that I was talking about documents in 07?

Probably install issue. "Repair" word 2007 from add/remove program list.

Yes, your phones will work, however you need a filter on each line. As stated above, try a repair. If that does not work, check to ensure everything is up to date. After that, resave the file in Word as a doc and see if it works.

Did the repair and the up to date check. Repair did nothing and no updates needed to download (already did them).
