Sorry if this is the wrong forum. So I'm in search of a gaming laptop but don't want to burst the bank. Can anyone help? I don't need finger print readers or sd card readers and I'll be using headphones most of the time so speaker quality won't matter. So yeah any help would be great thanks.

What games are you going to be playing?

IMHO, it doesn't really make much sense to get a laptop for gaming. Build yourself a good desktop instead... better performance, you don't have to deal with scalded wrists when gaming for long periods, and they're much more easily upgradeable.

I'm playing Conan atm. I need a notebook, a desk top is not an option for me atm.

I agree. After a year, your gaming laptop will be obsolete. At least with a desktop you can upgrade components and cheaper too.
