Corsair Tx Series 750w Power Supply or Antec Earthwatts 500w? which is better?

Basically I will be running

q6600 OC@3.2 ghz /w Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
evga nforce 680i mobo
2x1GB OXZ SLI READY DDR2-800 RAM
2x8800GT's in SLI
500GB HDD

I would prefer to get the Sonata III case with the Antec PSU, but is it enough?

Normally I'd say you're probably worried about nothing, but a pair of 8800GTs and an OC'd Q6600 can put a pretty hefty load on the 12V rail. The EA500 is a solid PSU, but I personally wouldn't use it in an SLI/CF rig.

I'll go with "you might be OK, but to be safe, go a little bigger." You could get an Antec 300 and the Corsair for a little more.

The rails on the Corsair are solid. Plus it's better having some extra watts available under load or if you add some more peripherals in the future.

If you only have the choice of those two then .. the Corsair 750W for sure.
