Digital perm, Magic perm

I've stick-straight Asian hair. Never been permed but I've been wanting to try it for a long time. I've heard about digital perms and magic perms. I've heard these ones are better than traditional perms. I want to go for the more naturally wavy/curly look. I've a few questions though...

1. What's the difference between the 2?
2. Price range for both
3. Where can I find salons in Toronto that offer these services?

from my understanding, magic perms do make your hair straighter not curly/wavier.

That's what I usually get when my hair gets frizzy and uncontrollable.

Personally, I never had the digital perm, but someone told me that it's very similar to magic perm but for the short hair.
