Okay so I was trying to transfer money from my PCF account to Citizens. Amazingly PCF's info was not there and I have to MANUALLY enter the bank info in order to do the transfer. Thinking that Citizens would not be THAT stupid to let their account holders to do that EVERYTIME, I called Citizens for an answer. BEHOLD, the answer is as I expected, I HAVE TO ENTER THE BANK INFORMATION EVERYTIME I TRANSFER MONEY! Yes i know i can save the bank info as a cookie but i clear cookies everytime i finish using the internet. That's it, I am removing my account and rather put my money in people's or ICICI once my hsbc promo is done.

It's not that hard to put in the information each time :)

An alternative would be to call Citizens Bank and ask them to do the transfer over the phone. They have the bank information on file, so they can transfer it for you without you giving all the information again. I guess you having to put in the information each time is either a security measure or a software limitation.

You could also open a free chequing account from Citizens when that is available (I read here that they were coming out with a product like that, but I'm not sure of the status), and connect it to your PCF account so you can initiate transfers from the PC side.

Maybe, but if they offer really high interest like peoples or unlimited atm/dr transcations like hsbc, then i understand. But...having only 4 withdrawals/dr transcations a month, not allow to change your pin and not being able to save bank info thru account are very very bad in my books. Going to remove it tmr as i need sleep now :D

TD lets me add another account as a "payee" and I just chuck money through that same "payee" to transfer money from different accounts. Just an idea.

I have TD too..... Can u describe this in more detail please?

Where in easyweb exactly is this?

I'd love to connect all my canadian accounts (i have several) with TD, rather than having them linked through icici or ing direct....

while not doing the "email money transfers" that the big5 support (costs $1.5 each time)

Thanks

p.s.: is this payee thing free?
