I recently received an Energie wallet as a gift and I believe that this wallet could possibly be a fake and would like other opinions.

Reasons as to why I believe this wallet to be fake:
1. When the wallet is unfolded and fully extended, the bend in the middle is uneven. The top part of the bend, bends higher than the bottom.

Common sense tells me that the measuring of the lengths of the wallet were incorrect and that if the stitching didnt correct this problem, the unfolded, fully extended shape of the wallet would be a slight curve like a really wide "u".

2. When I first put my cards into the card holders, it was difficult and I pretty much had to shove it in and apply unusual force. The bottom card slots were the toughest and these are the results of shoving the cards in as deep as possible without breaking the wallet:

As you can see, the bottom-most left card holder doesnt even fit my entire card. The card is slanted, not fully reaching the bottom of the wallet, and as a reslult, covers the card on top when it shouldnt. The bottom-most right card holder, altough even, was even more difficult to instert my card in and much, if not all, of the card behind it is covered.

3. Lastly, the tag on the inside is strange.

It is difficult to see in the picture, so I will write what it reads:

MADE IN INDIA
OUTSIDE:
100%
COW LEATHER
INSIDE:
100%
COW LEATHER

I'm not sure where Energie makes their clothing/accessories and if India is a legit location that produces their products. Also, does the 100% cow leather make sense when there is clearly fabric on the inside?

It seems pretty obvious to me that it's a fake but I would definately like more opinions. Thanks in advance

a little off topic, but I'm reminded of the phrase:

either thats real, or its a very very very good fake.

it looks real on first glance, and its gona be in ur back pocket so the only time someone will see it is when you pull it out on occasion. cut out the stupid tag if it bothers you.
