Anybody know where I can get a pea coat for this winter. As inexpensive as possible would be good. I know its not cold yet but I want to get it before it is cold because last year I meant to pick one up but by the time I was going to most of the stuff was already sold. Perferably Anywhere in the Hamilton - Burlington - Oakville Area, but may be willing to go to Toronto if you can recommend a good shop.

I assume you want a woolen one, but AE has a cotton twill one

Winners usually inventories them as well

Tommy, but not cheap

Not necessarily cheap. Its a gift from my girlfriend. Trying to not spend much of her money.

But thanks for the suggestions :) I'll give them a try.

if you happen to have a costco membership then, costco actually has a pretty good one. It's surprisingly well made, and reasonably priced (I'm not sure exactly how much).

Hey, At Bluenotes they are selling a Wool peacoat with colors Deep Navy Blue and Gray.

They are pretty good and feel really, warm, i tried it out myself at the Eaton Centre Location.

At bluenotes it costs 70$, but if you spend 80$ or more you get a bluenotes card for free (Costs orginally 20 bucks), giving you 20% off your first purchase and 10 % off ur other purchases for the rest of the year.

So assumign you buy like a graphic t shirt for 10 bucks.
80 x .80 = 64.
64 x 1.13 = 72.32

So yur spending about 70 bucks for a nice trendy peacoat.

The one at american eagle is less warm, and is a bit more flmisy. Its kinda wrinkly at times, but still very trendy and looks good.
My friend works there so i get 40%, so it only costs me about 60$ taxes in :cheesygri

I was going to pick one up when the 40% deal was going on at AE, but thought I'd be better off not. I had spent enough already.

Yeah, I'll be looking for one too. So uhh, if anyone has suggestions. Maybe I'll check out Price Club.

I'll take a look at bluenotes today. Is it wool? Or? And is a winter coat? Because the one at AE no way would last in the winter.

Go to Save More Sports in Toronto ( Corner of Queen and Jarvis ) - they are a army / navy surplus story and they carry genuine U.S. Navy pea coats.

If you want to get a ' genuine', warm, well made pea coat ..........forget AE, Tommy, Winners, Banana Republic, Bluenotes etc........you might as well get the ' real thing '.;)

I think the actual navy and army ones wouldn't be fitted enough for me. Im about 6' and about 150 - 160 lb's. I tried one on yesterday but it was 200$. I figured for 200$ I could probably find something that fit a little bit better.
