This week at Home Depot, they are having the 9hp snowblower on sales for $899, that's $250 off from regular price.

I been looking around for snowblower deal and I think it is a good deal, not hot, but I don't know if a lot of them will sit around for that late.
I bought it myself but I left it in box condition for now, I am new to snowblower and it will help if someone comment on it. Thanks

Where are you located and how much snow do you normally get?

I can't vouch for the quality of the new Ariens snowblowers, but I have one from the 70's that's built like a tank, literally. It still runs like a dream although we've recently done work on the tires and replaced the gas lines which had cracked after 30 years of service. We use it up at the cottage where 3 feet of snow is normal.

I have a newer MTD snowblower with similar specs to the Ariens at HD and it did the job for me perfectly in Toronto last winter, and we had some heavy snowfalls. It struggled a little with the walls of snow the plows pushed up and the end of the driveway, but it made it through just fine.
