Good: Excel gum 60 piece for $2.97 at Walmart

Counting to the penny, from the past 2 weeks I've been to Walmart, when I was lining up I see the Excel Gum 60 piece container was on sale for $2.97. Good deal imo.

It's cheaper than where you buy at Dollarama, which is 12 pieces for 65 cents. so for the same amount of 60 pieces, you are paying 65 cent x 5 = $3.25. So you are saving a quarter! And you get a fancy container!

I sure miss those 50 cent for 12 pack days....

Walmart also sells the 24 piece packs for 97 cents. Although it's split between two flavours - 12 Excel Polar and 12 Juicy Fruit Original. It's a good price if you don't mind both gums. I myself hate Juicy Fruit... with a passion.

I believe these have been cheaper before, but probably by about a few dimes and nickels.

As for the fancy container, its annoying for me, I used to carry it in my backpack, and once you eat a few, it starts rattling everytime you walk, guess its only meant to be kept at home.

Wow, after reading this, I thought what a better deal, you know, threeee packs for only $9, but its the same, $3/pack. Damn psychological price strategies.

i get the 10 doller costco specials when they come around. 24 packs of 12 peices for 10 bucks. so thats 288 peices for 10 bones. or 12.50 when not on sale.

note sure if the numbers are exact, but i'm sure i'm close enuf. if you have a membership already, its a pretty good deal.

fyi, its assorted packs, but i like em all, and i hate the rattling big packs even in my car.

Shoppers Drug Mart 2 weeks ago, when they had that referal weekend, the 60pc Excel gum was $3 :)
Only managed to get 2 containers as it seems someone bought the rest :)

Shoppers reg price is also $3.79 and if you can use some of the bonus ATM coupons too :)

I don't buy gum at Dollarama anymore. last 2 times it was stale and also better sales to be had. Every week or 2 it is on sale at 2x 4pk for $5, either at pharmaplus w airmiles, or at shoppers.
