Hi Got this card last year
great for points and automatic Silver Alliance membership for perks at all Marriotts Canada and US.

Got a bill 3 months after getting car for $79.00 (annual fee) called them up and they waived it, I am not sur ethey will do it again......

I've heard that this card is mediocre, at best. THe best hotel rewards card is the MBNA Starwood Preferred Guest Mastercard, by far!

Unless you are a huge Mariott fan and stay there all the time, this card is pretty poor for reward value.

The US Version is very good, not our Canadian version though

Did anyone else get in on the free offer last month that was posted in the hot deal, to get free Marriott Gold Status? All you had to do was sign the online form, and that's it! A week ago I got my Marriott Gold Status Card (not a credit card) just for having signed up...all for free...awesome!!
