I have a Paypal account with both Bank Account and Visa linked to it.
The reason I have the bank account is so I can sell the items and transfer the funds out.
I have a very low < $50 float in my bank account.
However today I bought something for $80 bucks. Is there a way I can choose which payment option (Visa or Bank)? A setting I need to do?
I made payment and under transaction details it looks says Bank Account first (source of funds) and Secondary source is VISA.
I do not have over draft protection on my account so what will happen? Would I get NSF from paypal because I am short? Or would the payment be Bank and VISA?
For future purchases I much rather have the funds taken out of my VISA for MY protection.
Anyone? Thanks

I think you will get a NSF on your bank account, and then Paypal will charge your credit card for the full amount. Try to deposit some money ASAP in your bank account to avoid any NSF. (You could technically get charged by both the bank and Paypal (althought I am not sure about Paypal's policy)).
When you pay for your stuff, there is always an option to select where to take the funds. You can take the funds off your VISA and not select your bank account.

I don't think PayPal charges you NSF anymore which I guess is a positive note in this situation.

I put funds < 5 min after my payment.. however when I paid paypal VIA ebay it never asked me for the option of using different (Bank, VISA). Where can I find this option? Could you direct me where I can do this?

It should ask about payment methods just before you hit the confirm button.
