the plan is $20 but only on Rogers.......and yea you can switch anytime but i hear they are getting more strict on the requirements. More like employment rather than membership to certain organizations.

If you're planning on signing up a new 3-year with Rogers, trust me when I say you can go in and tell them you want the $20 plan and they will give it to you.. Even if your company is not on that list. Rogers doesn't give two shits about what company or school they throw you under. This plan is still very profitable for them. The company codes are just there to show who they have agreements with with.

The $20 offer also works with 0$ phones right? Is there a special number to call for EPP?

Are you sure? I was at a Bell Store three days ago and the best they could offer was:

200 min
Voicemail
$22 + SAF

...unless you are Costco planmember.

Do these plans work with the iPhone? (This may be a really stupid question but I have no idea)

I heard you have to have minimum $30 a month plan for an iPhone, so say I add features that total up to $30...would it work?

The restriction on plans above $30 mean that you get your iphone for 199/299. If it is below $30 you get your new iphone for 249/349. Also, I think add on does NOT apply to that restriction, meaning it does NOT count toward the $30 restriction.

They started charging me for the unlimited calling after 5pm option. I just noticed it recently on my plan. When I called, they told me that it was probably a promo at the start and promo at the start and it probably ended. So I decided to cancel it. Was he lying to me? Should that unlimited after 5pm be applied for that EPP plan untill i change it?

It's over $25 with SAF. Don't call it $17.50, because it's not. That's simply a lie.

Not sure how much this has been covered before.. don't wanna read pages and pages of posts... Whats the cheapest I can get an iPhone for without data plan? This is for Rogers... and I may switch my other phone to Telus if I can get two iphones (I'm fine with the old one if I can get it cheap).

You could get SAF waived if you call in and make up a legitimate excuse.
I did. :)

No sh*t, sleepers seems like an appropriate name for you. Join date Aug 2002, this is your 2nd post, and you don't know (for the most part) this promo expired the end of Oct 2008.

I had two lines on fido, I just politely asked him why I'm still paying for SAF+911 as if it's 'grandfathered'?? He said he'll have it waived for a year :)

I don't know for Rogers but with Fido it's for Retention only and without SAF.

I said Rogers has a promo for free early evenings (happy hour) for all students with free E&W in their plans, and asked what Fido could do for me since I am a student and already had happy hour. They waived my SAF for the length of my contract. :)
