Quality lens for all Canon EOS digital or film cameras, including Rebel XT, XTi and XSi, Canon 20D, 30D and 40D, Elan and other EOS film cameras. The lens is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or dust, and functions perfectly. The only reason I am selling this lens is because I just upgraded to the 24-70L. The original price of this lens sells for $400+.

This lens has excellent optics and solid construction with the metal mount. This lens is often overlooked because of the inferior quality of Canon's later 28-80mm lenses! With this lens you will get the quality photos you expect from your Canon camera. This is a good upgrade to you "kit" lenses, or as a starter lens.
BEWARE
There are many Canon EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lenses out there. Only this model with the metal mount introduced in 1991 is considered high quality. The non-USM models and the USM II, III, IV, and V models are all considered low-end consumer lenses.
