You can also PM with Staples for $14.70 depending on who you get.In my area the 2 stores are in the same complex so they always do it.

it's a shame it took so long for the price of DL media to come down, now that DVD is fading away, the only real use for these is 360 backups.
For movies it's OK, but with the download limits ISP's are making these days, and the fact that I never watch special features, and the download time involved, It's almost better just to get the DVD5 version.

i got a spindle myself :D
they were selling a 15pc spindle for $40! and a 50 for 38! lolz
and then their cd-r 50pc on their flyer was 19.99 but i saw it @ wal-mart for 19.99 so i didnt bother but i told them to scan it, it was 37.99 LOL so i said i want to pricematch it haha
then the dude was like "ok 37.99 minus 19.99, thats 18 bucks difference so 10 percent is..... you know what ill give it to you for $15 hows that?"
lol he struggled with math a lil but sure.. i had to buy one @ wal-mart though first coz its not on the website so i needed the receipt :D
but yeah good deal overall
OH AND THE 100pc DVD-R @ CT is 19.99 FS have it for 57.99 or something
PM that for < $20! tax in!!!!

They work, but the quality of the disk is kind of poor.

all my 360 backups are memorex and i don't seem to have a problem with it. I heard verbatim is way better, but the only problem is that its 2.4x..... can u burn it faster like 4x cuz thats the speed i always burn with

Depends on your drive. I can burn 4x on all my drives, and 6x on a few of them. I find one of my players likes it better when burned at 4x (when changing layers) even though 6x quality scans are a bit better.
I think the Verbatim 2.4x can even be oversped to 8x, although it isn't recommended.

i believe the Dolph said 8X is do-able indeed. but personally, i'd never overspeed beyond 4X

been burning my verbs at 8x on my pioneer 212d and haven't had any problems so far. even at 8x, the verbs work better on my hitachi xbox than dl fujifilm riteks at 4x or tdk cmc's at 2.4x.

The label says they can be burned at 6x but I only burn them at 4x.
The 2.4x speed is featured prominently on the label with the 6x printed in a much smaller font. Have a look at the packaging for these disks from Staples: http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=80%2C88,288&webid=580710&affixedcode=WW
You'll have to click on the image and you'll see "Up to 6x".
