There are many ways to call Japan - a google search yields a number of hits: www.google.com

P.S. The subject of your post refers to Cuba as the most expensive country in the world... you might want to change that.

He's probably referring to the fact that Cuba costs more to call then Japan.

to the OP, skypes is probably your best bet.

the cheapest i ever found was just under a dollar 90 or 85 cents a minute with some calling cards.

The prices are so high because of the cuban goverment taxes they charge.

theres some agencies where u can call their toll free or 416 number and they will direct u to where u want to call for a small one time fee i think. its similar to 3-way calling i assume, so they absorb the charges somehow.

voiphit.com lets you call cuba for 53.2 euro cents, so .85-.90 a minute. Not bad, but still not good, but it is less than what I have to pay to call Cuba at the moment.
