I bought a Hard Drive from asia and the required power source is 100V. In Canada it's 110V. I haven't used it in Canada yet. Should I get a converter? or is it okay to use in Canada?

If it is 50Hz like Voodoo say, you will have a hard time converting 50Hz to 60Hz. Some device don't care about frequency, hope that is what you have.

Check the AC-Adapter. It should read something like:

110 - 240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.XA

Most adapters can handle different voltages/frequencies.

frequency says 50/60 hz so i think im good.
I'm not sure if i should rip out the HD and just replace powersource or try to look for the converter.
