should I order an IBM laptop now, or wait? (+ laptop questions)

:( My HP laptop broke after just 2 years and I want to replace it with one that will last me 4 years. So I thought of buying an IBM.

I heard the new IBM line is coming out, and its very annoying how IBM website changes price every so often with promotions. There are no promotions right now (only visaperks) and I am wondering would it be wiser to wait (until when?) then new lines come out so I can get more discount???

I need a laptop by september though as my current one is totally broken.... THANKS! :)

p.s.... any thought on LG laptops and any thing brand that will last for sometime?

Sorry to break the news to you, but IBM doesn't make laptops anymore...

Lenovo makes some pretty good laptops, but I'd suggest waiting a while if you can. If you need it now, buy one.

My dad has a Lenovo laptop and that thing is a tank! Def has held up better than his previous Toshiba. For heavy users (computer, not drugs!) Lenovos are one of the best out there. You do pay a premium for that, of course, but it is worth it imo.
