In case any one is looking for Lego Set 7666 (Stars Wars Hoth set), I just spotted 3 at the Toys R Us in Market Mall, Calgary. ($79.99). (Near closing time, Sunday, Aug. 3rd).

It's been out of stock quite awhile, so I suspect they might have found some in the back of the warehouse.

If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. (aka no pointless bumps :P)

My best friend had this hanging in his bedroom when we were wee tykes ~30 years ago! Man I'm aging... ;)

You are probably referring to the toy back in the 80's

Hey guys... psstt, there's something called girls. You know, slender looking things, 4 appendages, 2 legs, 2 arms, curves around the chest and bottom posterior area. Long hair, smells nice, speak in a higher tone of voice. Trust me, much more fun to play with than playing with Legos.

Well duh...cause there isn't enough Lego.

I would have thought that answer was obvious.

I hate to be anal, but only one of the following is correct:

LEGO, LEGOS, Lego, Legos

I hate to be realistic, but it really doesn't matter.

The UCS Falcon definately is on my short-list of kits to pickup if I ever get enough room (that along with #928 from the 70s).

I had most of these sets...my Dad and I would pay half each for them...Including the xmas gifts that were Lego.

I'm not sure what to say.

Say anything you want! That's the beauty of off-topic!

What I hate is the fact that Lego in Canada isn't price adjusted with the currency exchange. When this set first came out, it was 59.00 USD and 79.00 CAD, which was roughly in line with the exchange rate. Now, us Canadians are just paying $20 bucks more cause they can't/don't want to update there prices.

Another Lego Star Wars update:
The Sandcrawler (10144) is currently on sale for $159 instead of $199. (Of course the US sales price is $99, grrrr)

Except if they bought the kits at those original prices and sent them to Canada and are trying to recoup their original costs so they don't lose on the new exchange rate.

These are not toys. They are tools for the enrichment of structural thinking.

Great info. OP. I like playing with building blocks, but I'm not much into Star wars stuff. However it seems very popular considering it has been sold out at other places. BTW, you can find much cheaper Lego at Wal-mart, and Superstore.

This may explain why there's a shortage of men in Calgary.

You could have said "voluptuous". :cheesygri But since you want to be descriptive don't forget to mention the smooth, and soft skin. ;)

Haha, funny. My fiancee (now wife) bought the Falcon for me.

I've got the perfect woman.. she's helping me build it right now. As a matter of fact, she wanted to wait until we're married to start the build.

hmm I sense some insecurities in those who have managed to assume a link between grown men playing with Lego, and not being able to get a woman..

Maybe, for obvious reasons, those particular few havn't been lucky enough to find a woman whose cool about it.. take what you can get, I guess ;)

LOL.

Those of you that think women are the be all-end all play thing clearly haven't dated or been with one long enough to know you get sick of being around them eventually.

I used to love my lego soldiers and miniatures.

The custom made pieces that have been posted here are extremely impressive. There are a different types of women (and men) in this world and not all see it as "playing with toys" and can respect the complexity and intelligence that goes into creating such a magnificant piece of art.
