Anyone into RC cars ?

I'm just trying to figure out if my 8 cell battery pack I made will kill my Superstock motor?

I Just made a 8 cell battery pack and I have a Super Stock TZ motor in my car it goes pretty good now.

I think I Might have killed the motor it is seems to go slower every time I use it maybe its just me though.

K I feel kinda sorry for you because nobodys answering but I'll try to recall my RC days and see if I can help.

IIRC putting more cells will burn out the bushings and overheat the ESC earlier which may cause the car to go slower.
