I bought a laptop from Lenovo in late May, just a basic laptop, a friend wanted a new PC, and said she liked the sound of this laptop.. I ordered it, and it wasnt to her liking, and wanted a desktop..

I have been asked if this would play WOW and Age of Empires 3 - I am not familiar with system req's for gaming, integrated cards, etc... This is what the computer has:

Celeron M 530(1.73GHz), 2GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVD, 802.11bg wireless, Modem, 10/100 Ethernet, Touchpad, Secure chip, 6c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro.

Now, the laptop would be used for WOW and AoE3, as well as school work...

Would this machine run the games, with little to no choppy-ness, or is it a loss for the games?

I thought I'd ask here, since it's more geared towards PC Specs, rather than games itself.

Short answer, no. Not satisfactorily but it will make for an OK applications computer (Word, Powerpoit, Excel, etc).

Here's a review for X3100:

So you'll probably get lesser frame rates than the one in the review.

You can probably play WoW, but with low/medium settings.

Intel integrated video sucks for games. Avoid them if you want play 3D games...

Never meant for a gaming machine for my friend, she just wanted it for surfing, etc.. But I don't want to get stuck with the laptop...

Should it be hard to get rid of a laptop like this?

I didn't pay that much, and just would like to get that back - not looking to make a profit.
