Toshiba Laptop Battery

Hello,

I have toshiba laptop since 2006, working very well, the only problem i am seeing recently is when i unplug the cord, battery suddenly drops down to 5 or 6% and shut down the unit soon.

Is it problem related to battery? if i changed the battery is it OK?

where and how to get the battery?

Try staples. I know the replacement battery for my Toshiba is $80 there (and the high-capacity is around $120).

I'm pretty sure that your battery is shot.

Try ebay, They're the cheapest I have found.
