So, how many of us are (honestly) female? Let's see how many responses I get over the next few days!!!

Is this a trick question to flush out the females? Why not just do a poll?

Because some males might be stupid and click female for the hell of it.

Geeze..the ones with ambiguous names can still post here. Are you female then or ???

As an aside...male bashing this early in the morning?

lol, just wondering which of the ambiguous ones are female. Also, I'm not for male-bashing. I tend to like the opposite gender! lol

There are a lot of lurkers out in the Hot Deals section. Do female lurkers count?

My best guess is that this is still a sausage fest. :(

just because you write official does not make it official - This thread has been made many times over - try the search button

and it is 4 to 1

Alright, seeing as how you have a problem, it's now UNofficial. lol, it was just a name, and this is strictly just for fun. It's not like I'm conducting a scientific experiment. Besides, it might've changed since the last time it was done.

You "tend"? Speaking of ambiguity...

The male-bashing was in reference to Kay's post, though.

Well I'll play. I'm female.

I also suspect there would be more females posting if only the constant (and I mean it's non-stop around here) female bashing, sexist comments were curtailed.

You call that innocuous comment male bashing? Wow, a tad sensitive now aren't we?

Ditto...on both counts.

Only if the sexist, immature comments would die down, I would consider posting more.

You should post whenever you want to.
When I was new here I felt the same way-- not anymore.
I figured out that the boys that do this are just coddled little boys that think they are grown up if they use sexist and immature comments. I just ignore and move on, soon that thread will be locked.

I do like RFD and have learnt alot and saved alot.
If RFD mods read this, then they will know why many females don't bother with this site.

I don't read alot of threads in off topic, but I don't see any sexist comments or female bashing.

What I do see are threads related to race.
