Anyone see what happened there tonight? Looks like an impaired driver lost control and plowed into some pedestrians waiting at the corner?

The long weekend has barely started, and already a dangerous incident may be threatening one pedestrian's life.

A woman was pushing a stroller full of groceries when she was hit by a car, and made contact with the windshield of the vehicle.

Police say a witness followed a driver to the 401 and Sheppard area where the authorities arrested him.

The victim is said to be in Sunnybrook Hospital on life support.

The incident took place on Orchard Park Boulevard near Kingston Rd. and Morningside. The vehicle that is believed to have been involved was found nearby.

Hit-and-run are the lowest of all lows. I wish these scums would flip over and burst in to flames like those retro A-team car chases.

Yonge and Lakeshore is the thread title.

Sheppard and 401 is the article.

They are about 20 kilometers apart from each other.

Lol... I'm pretty sure they don't. The "Sheppard and 401 area" runs for maybe 30 km, possibly more.

well... Sheppard and 401 don't really intersect per se.. unless you are counting Port Union Rd. Sheppard turns into Port Union right about where the 401 is

East scarlem, thats what they were referring too. Not too far from Kingston and morning side.

Sheppard and 401 do sort of intersect.
