So I was screwing around on RFD and clicked on the members list menu and found this.
Apparently SeeWhy2, hp and nubbie were all a part of RFD before the internet even existed?!?!

It's a little known fact, but these were the 3 guys who invented the internet. Back then it was called Red Flag Net.

Just a glitch from when we migrated the database to different bulletin board software years and years ago.

Since all three accounts share the same date, chances are that is the date displayed when the field is blank. Same thing happens in SharePoint except the value is December 1st, 1989.
Not really that big a deal.
If they were different years, then the joke would be a little funnier.

Not to be a nitpicker, but the internet began October 29, 1969 albeit not even remotely close to what we've seen since the World Wide Web was invented. It was called the ARPANET. I agree though, that some don't recognize it as the true internet.

Actually, Al Gore invented the Internet, on the 4th of July, 1969, while researching the little phenomenon called Global Warming.

Is Gore suppose to be fighting in 'Nam back in '69?
Or did Agent Orange cloud his thought and have an epiphany about the 'Net and Global Warming?

Must be blank..
Unix-based systems use POSIX time to keep track of dates...they use Jan 1, 1970 as teh reference point.

From my point of view, they ammended/modify the data in the database to make it happen.

There is an explanation: they were logging to the server on site, no remote access, no internet.
