the heck? are we supposed to draw or can we just reply for those with no drawing skills? does the solution have to be realistic? can i do things that a normal human can't?

I'll use some sort of acid to melt the spikes. Then wash away the acid with good ol' water. And then walk over and grab the cake as fast as possible and run away from the moving pillar the cake rests on :lol:

I suggest using a basic fluid instead of water. You see, you'd have to balance the acidic substance with a basic substance in order to wash away the danger
