i have student loans to pay back to BC student loan & canada student loan.

i want to pay everything in one large sum using a bank account transfer. i found the info for BC student loan on their website to pay using a bank transfer. however, there is nothing on the canada student loan site that tells you the process of paying them back.

for bc student loans they have this on their site
Choose the "Pay Bills" section, then choose "Update/Create/Add Payee." Then from the list of payees, choose "Prov BC Student Loan Repayment."
In the company account box, enter your British Columbia student loan account number.

anyone know a similar process for canada student loans?

its the same.

I'm with TD, I added NATIONAL STUDENT LOANS SERVICE CENTRE as the payee.

Remember student loan interest is tax deductable so the interest rate may be lower then you suspect. Pay off higher interest debt first.

Yea, OSAP and Canada Student Loan fall under NSLSC as stated below.

The OP is from BC, not Ontario.

Edit:
Remember student loan interest is tax deductable [SIC]
That is not true. Student loan interest is NOT tax deductible. It does generate a non-refundable tax credit though.

I just went to the bank (CIBC) and filled a slip out.

But I called the CSL centre beforehand and they said, as dark169 did, to just add National Student Loans Service Centre as a payee and transfer the payment.

(And yes, I'm from BC.)
