View Full Version : Friggin' TicketMaster!!! - Changed The On-Sale Time Last Minute!

So I was attempting to purchase tickets to see Bryan Adams in Toronto today through TicketMaster. The on-sale time scheduled with both TicketMaster and Live Nation was 11AM.

I show up at 11AM (on the website) only to find that the tickets went on sale at 10:13AM. If you're at all familiar with TicketMaster, they schedule the times well in advance and they are usually even times ... 10:00AM, 10:30AM or 11:00AM ... NOT 10:13AM

The other issue with the TicketMaster website is that if you refresh too often, they lock you out of the website so since then, I'm not on the website until the last few minutes of the on-sale.

I've called TicketMaster, they told me to call Live Nation who "released the tickets."
I've called Live Nation who said they don't release the tickets, TicketMaster is in charge and owns the tickets and releases them.
I've just called TicketMaster BACK to tell them this, when I was told they all received emails and are telling customers to call Live Nation, at which point I told her I DID and hopefully she can reply to that email to say that Live Nation is passing the buck to TicketMaster, once again.

AND NOW both dates are SOLD OUT ...

THANKS A LOT TICKETMASTER!!!

Anyways, ya ticketmaster sux ...

I think I saw it in the news last week, that they hold on to high demand concert tickets and sell them at higher price just like those ticket scalpers...

So ya maybe wait alittle you'll be able to get the same ticket from them for double the price...

f u TicketMaster we deserve somethin' betta

and that's why as much as possible I find a way to get to the venue and buy the tickets from there... I HATE Ticketmaster... most of the time thier service charge fee is higher than the price of the tickets...

That's right. I'm not sure how to go about doing it for a high-profile event, but usually if you're able to contact the venue or the promoter, you can get tickets through them.
I've done this for quite a few Hip-Hop acts to by-pass TicketMaster's crap.

there's always some stores that get a bunch of tickets to sell, should start asking around to see if any got some...saves you the ticketmaster fees as well if you can get them
