Hello,

I am looking for a good vendor that provides instructor led courses for SQL Server 2005 in the TO / Miss. area.

I have spoken to couple of vendors and one of them Acend Corporate Learning (previously known as New Horizons) provides Mentored Learning Environment.

Does anyone know of these guys? Or does anyone know a good vendor? I am interested in starting a course ASAP as I have some downtime.

Thanks,
N

I've been to one course (SQL 2005 Business Intelligence) in Mississauga in 2007 (near SQ1, can't remember the company name for now), it was pretty useless, IF you have done the stuff at work, or has read the book

Therefore I'd say a good book, and hands on experience is more useful than a course. For really advanced stuff, you attend conferences/seminars, but those training courses, the instructors may not be as advanced as you think

Thanks Jerry!

Yes I have been in the field for a while and picked-up stuff on my own and therefore wondering the worth and value of this.

Thanks for the info.

I tried several courses put on by different schools. The only ones that were any good were from a school located on King St W at Bay St. Don't remember the name but it shouldn't be hard to find.
