Hey guys SOo my Contact for City Fido is up and Im wondering if I should keep it.

Currently I was offered 45 (CityFido) + 20 buck value pack (optional) "no saF" If I stay

TOtal month = 73 bux taxes in "No data yet" (this is my current plan) Oh and they were gonna let me get a phone at the sign up prices which is pointless Imo...

I wanted something with data like the 30/6gig deal but the csr said the data is for Fido phones only and I will be charged If i use a non fido handset. (Is this true?) (Fido Not rogers)

I was planning on getting a BB and use it on Fido; Soo im just curious On what I SHould do and what you guys think my options are.

SHould I keep the City Fido or are there any other plans that I can get from other Service providers? I really wanna keep a GSm provider due to the fact I can change my phone when I want :)

What I use the phone for is Obviously Talking alot, Txt, Data/Email. But All the handsets from fido suck!! I really want a BB because I love the Pin and all other BB services SOo what do you guys think I should do Im soo COnfused.

it actually depends on how you actually use your phone. If you call all sorts of people at crazy random times very often, city fido is for you. If you do specified calling (i.e. 5 people, long distance, evenings, fido-fido, network calling, etc), then you could hook urself up with a cheaper retentions plan that will cover all of your calling

data plan's pretty sweet and even if you call people are crazy times, billing by second will take care of you. i'm sure depending on how many years you have left on your city fido contract, you can sell that sucker (aren't people offering 1000-1500 for it?) and set yourself up with a nice plan for 2 years.

on fido it specifically states in the agents system that it can only be used on fido phones.so there is a probability that you could be charged however on rogers it allows any phones.so in my opinion its a no with fido.
