Is it morally right to sell just a picture of an item? Not really. It's basically taking advantage of the less informed, the naive (eBay noobies).
It still doesn't excuse the woman and daughter in that video for not reading carefully (assuming it really did say -just a picture-). I think $5000 was a little excessive.
