Yeah, I've been shopping around for a flight from Van to Cgy for a while now. Last night it came up as 202$ today 180$....not seeing the 45% savings. Really irks me as I'm flying from Detroit to Vancouver Return for 600$ CDN direct on Northwest, and I have to pay 200$ One way from Vancouver to Calgary.

Canadian travel is so overpriced.

That surcharge tax is a scam. The oil barrel price has dropped down from close to $150 to $125 and yet airlines won't reflect this change in their fees.

I have to pay 200$ One way from Vancouver to Calgary. Canadian travel is so overpriced.if you can, plan ahead and wait for sale. last time westjet/aircanada had yyc<->yvr on sale for $190 tax in. ($19 one way.)
