Once you go satellite radio you'll never go back...you might still get better deals by calling and asking to stop service but if you can't then these codes are great

The correct phrase is, "Once you get Sirius, you never go back."
lol... LoC owns anything on XM.

I have satellite radio in my car, and i personally, have gone back... lol.. i would only listen to one station, XM81 BPM. and most of the times it was repeats.
Sirius isn't really an option for me since the radio is built in, and getting an external one would be redundant-ish...
but my 6 cd mp3 changer will do. or my ipod plugged into the aux plugin.

Sirius is the best. XM is poor compared to it.

XM's customer service is horrible. I had to call 3 times, 20 mins each, to make sure they cancelled my subscription. Just be aware that they are really sneaky.
First time I called to cancel I was told that I would get a refund. They charged me before my old subscription was expired.
Second time I called again to make sure eveything went it was supposed to. Guess what the sales rep told me that I would only cancel it after the new 3 month subcription which they already charged my credit card. I got pretty pissed off at the time and still politely explained to her that I wanted to cancel it right away and needed my refund. She apologized and said I would get my money back.
Called again after a week. I was told the same thing again. I lost it and yelled for their manager. I told him that's the last time I called them. If I wouldn't get my money back I would just do a charge back through my credit card company. Fianlly I got my money back.
I have a friend who experienced similar situation too. I honestly wouldn't use XM again. If you plan to cancel their service, be careful since they have your credit card info and they would rip you off whenever they can.

I agree, If it was alot cheaper I would keep mine but around New Years when my year is up I will be not renewing unless I get a great deal like $50 a year or something.

whoh and I thought I was the only one.
I couldn't justify paying just to listen to one channel. BPM all the way!

if you call in, you can still get the deals listed here (for XM):

I got the 3 months for 5$/month deal a couple of weeks ago... which for me is worth it... any much more than that and I'd rather hook up my iPod to my car stereo.

i've been with XM for over 3 years and i'll be honest i only listen to 3 stations: 80 the move, 81 BPM, 82 the system. i've been successful everytime i call in to renew at 'promo' rates. i just renewed for another year term and paid $96. that's decent in my case.

I have a friend in the car business so he gets me Sirius free. (RFD way)
On it for 3 years.
I hate commercial radio. I like to drive my own car so I can avoid FM radio.

Yeah, my wife works for one of the big box stores, so I have XM and Sirius for free too :-)
