A frd wants to take over my account and I was wondering how does this work and how much does Roger charge for the process of account holder transfer? Any body has had any experience? Thank you.

just did one. I was the taker and it was very easy. Basically you( the current owner) calls and says that you want to to a transfer of responsibility. Then you give the persons name. Then that person(the one who wants it) calls and gives his name along with your name, your phone number, and full address. Then rogers will run a credit check on him and get his info. If everything is clear then that's it.

The only thing that happened to me was I wanted to change my current number as well and the rep put both my number and plan onto his sim card(I told him not to). Plus they deactivated my sim card. So my only choice was to activate a new sim or get it from him.

oh and BTW: Its free to do this but if you have any revenue and is elegible for a HUP you should do it before the tranfer as the revenue get set back to $0 when the friend takes it over(Will still be able to do HUP if previously eligible but at Tier 1 pricing)
