Hey guys, I enrolled in PHYA10H3 F on ROSI and so far I managed to get a LEC, and PRA. There 3 PRAs left when I began the enrollment and all 3 conflicted with my schedule. Also, I didn't get to choose a TUT since all of them were full. Keep in mind I'm in 2nd year (I believe the 1st year students took up the spaces since there enrollment start time is earlier).
Anyone know who I can talk to in order to resolve this? or can anyone offer any help?
Also, is it worth the time to wait for the other PRAs and TUTs to free up?

you have to be in a tutorial i believe so they will fit you into one somehow.
as for the practicals, was there a session that did not conflict with your schedule? if there was, send an email to the prof and let him/her know that you need to get into that session b/c everything else conflicts.

They'll help you out if you need to get into a different PRA and TUT.
PM me if you need the textbook/lab manual.

The thing about tutorial is: there are currently 315 students attending lecture, meanwhile there is 6 full tutorials with max 36 spaces each which equals to only 216 total tutorial spaces. So the other 99 of us are without tutorials, which is sad :( you think they'll create more tutorials for the rest of us? I don't wanna backtrack physics =/
PRA: yea there are a few PRAs that won't conflict with my schedule. I just wanna know if the professor will allow me to switch even though the other PRAs are full. I actually prepared for my course enrollment, but come the course enrollment start date, most students took up the spaces and I'm left with conflicting ones.

hey you're second year @ UTSC.. i am too! :cheesygri
i was in a similar situation for most of my math courses, i got into the lecture but all the tutorials were filled.. but after a few days more tutorials opened up / people dropped out of existent tutorials. so i wouldn't worry about not being able to get into the tutorial that much.

as a third year student who has done this many times, yes the prof should let you switch practicals without much problem. and there is no way in hell they'll let you miss a tutorial (actually, im not sure how science works but tutorials are quite important but maybe in science practicals are more important) so they'll have to open up a few more classes.
feel lucky, at least you're in the class. i am waitlisted for a class with 30 spots and there are 33 students on the waitlist. im at number 10. i really hope they open another class or another 20 spots or so.
