Alright, so lately, every night at around 1am, I'd get prank calls from stupid ****ing immature people so I decided to change my number.

I log into my Rogers account online, and it says $10. So I hit okay, and follow the steps only to see that my phone is not there, so I can't do it...

I call Rogers, and tell them I need it changed and he tells me it's $25. And I argue with him for 5minutes saying how it's $10 on the site, and that you can't charge me more when that's what it says on the site...

Anyways, he goes on to say that the system does it automatically, so I say "ok, charge me $25, and then credit my account with $15. I know you can do that on your computer"

He responds by saying, "I know I can do that, but I'm not going to." So I get really pissed off with his damn attitude, and he can tell by the way I was talking. He then tells me that I'll have to deal with it with the next rep once my bill comes, so I said ok w/e just do this now.

So do I have anything against Rogers? It says $10 on their site. It doesn't say $25 in-store, $10 online. Doesn't even show the 2 and the 5 figure together on that one page...

And one more thing... this guy was a complete jerk and was not professional at all. When he answered the call he's like "how can I help you" in a low tone with no expression at all. Usually when your working for a company you say, "Hi my name is _______, how can I assist you today?" and you sound like your alive..

the CSR you got is probably not the best - but you didn't really help your cause when you basically told them how to do their job with the following "ok, charge me $25, and then credit my account with $15. I know you can do that on your computer"... a little tack and politeness goes a long way when dealing with CSRs.

I don't see how any of that matters considering how he initially started the conversation.

I tried to be polite in the beginning, but he was just a jerk.

So you decided to be a jerk back? Ya, that always solves the problem

Why did you agree to let him do it now for $25? Why not call back and hope for a nicer rep?
