My dad was just called me and he say they want 30$ data plan with Iphone :mad: , I've personally went to the Rogers stores in Chinatown and asked for Iphone etc... and they say you need 30$ data plan? :confused: wtf?

you don't need to get it.. it is only optional.. tell them to read their memo from HQ.. or just find the press release on rogers site and show them.. but it is in en-ga-lish.. so they probably won't understand...

I got my sister one over the phone (*611).. just a normal 25$ plan... so yea it is possible

tell them to call rogers and ask. i am 100% certain that data plan is optional.

Ok.... I just called *611 and they transfer me to CS, I ask if I need a data plan... and she said yea... wtf?

What am I doing wrong??

just call *611 and say cancel my phone. talk to those ppl there
