Hey,

Got a couple of these sent to me from a friend, figured I'd take some pictures.

It's a back up battery for your iPhone, basically plug it in once your phone is dead and it'll recharge your phone. You can use it while it's recharging your phone.

Doesn't look cheap or obviously a 3rd party accessory and matches well with the phone.

Anyway, if any of you guys have some questions let me know!

Is it one time use or is it rechargeable? also, how much charge does it give the iphone 3G?

Hey,

Rechargeable of course :) There's an LED that tells you its status as well.

LED Status:

Bright Blue = backup battery charging
Light Blue = fully charged
Red = low battery

Isn't compatible with the 3G phone, though a new model will be coming out mid August from my understanding.

It's compatible with the 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB original iPhone.

iPhoneck Provides:

2-3 hours of talk time
3-4 hours of internet browsing
2-3 hours of video playback
4-5 hours of music playback

It's a 850mAh Li-lon rechargeable battery underneath the OEM style casing.

Pretty good idea, but its pretty darn big IMO. Would be good for traveling. How much are these?

Edit: Found a site (http://www.iphoneck.com/home.php?cat=1)that has 3G batteries too, about $42 plus shipping and taxes for bigger battery. But i wouldn't order from there, site looks a little fishy, all they really sell is batteries, all the other links are dead. So people Beware

Hey,

The website is just being put together and there's nothing fishy about it.

If a few links are dead it's because the site is incomplete.

From my understanding the 3G version isn't ready yet... but I'll find out.

neat idea and good for those long airplane/road trips. If I find a deal on one I would get it.

I think this is better: http://www.mophie.com/products/juice-pack
http://static2.shopify.com/s/files/1/0008/4942/products/JUICE_PACK_iPhone_back_side_white_600_large.png

But it's for $99 + shipping.

At $25 I think it's a good deal.

yeah, that's a full case.

Looks nice, but completely different price range obviously. Depends on how much you want to spend I guess along with how much you'll use it.
