I just retrieved my cellphone from the washing machine (it just started washing) and when I got to it it was vibrating wildly, the screen was going funky, and then I took the battery out, but when I put it back in now, I get a blank white screen and the phone is in constant vibrate mode..

Besides being a nice vibrating massager, is the phone dead forever? It would probably not be worth it to fix it right?

It's also a one month old phone from Virgin Mobile, am I out of luck (have to buy a new one) or will any warranty or anything cover it? Also, does anyone know if I can get a temporary phone to use for now?

THx.

Ok this is what I would do...

Sell phone on BST
????
Some one buys it
???
Get money
???
Buy a phone off BST
???
Profit

In other hand, just get a new phone

Take it apart and let the components dry out separately. It may work after it drys out and is reassembled. Mine survived several wakeboarding wipeouts.

I didn't turn it on, it was already on (like everyone's cell phone) and when I got to it in the washer, it was vibrating wildly from the water getting in..

I stopped it by taking the batt out... and if I plug it back in it starts vibrating, I don't even have to turn it on or anything..

So I'm out of luck? Virgin Mobile won't replace it?
