*I think* it indicates brake light failure. She checked the lights, but did she check them with the brakes depressed? If so, and the lights were working, it could be a lose wire indicating a false positive OR there is a problem and they will fail soon.

Sorry, you're right. I sold my Camry a few months ago but the blue light does sound right for high beams.

Tell her to step on the brakes and check the brake lights in the back.

It means someone has had sex in the car. Its a warning light. I got the same thing banging a girl in NiagraFall. Luck my wife didnt know about it. I took the car to the dealership to reset it, costed $80. Thanks TOYOTA!

That looks like a 91-96 camry V6. It's the rear light failure light, check the backlights and see if they respond to the brakes, if they are working properly with the the headlights on/off.. etc.

If the brake lights still work, this can be caused by corrosion on the contacts. Get some 100 grit sandpaper and clean them up a bit.

it's one of the rear brake lights going. go to the dealer pick up a bulb. they're a couple of bucks and replace it yourself.

Indeed, he said it at the right moment.
92-94 Camry-- remember you have 4 brakes lights (inner and outer brake lights)
Also, check the wiring harness leading to trunk lid it might be broken, cause by open/closing the trunk after many years of service. Again, check your reverse lights.
95-96 Camry- Only 2 brake lights (1 per side). Check your reverse lights.

Yup. I had to take a second look at the shape of the indicator light.
If the bulbs are all fine with the brake lights, could it be the brake light switch?
