Hi there,

I've been hearing some ads about Biomeer made by Cavolution. Has any tried this stuff before and how effective is it?

I've tried some cheap Moto-master stuff from Crappy Tire before, and it seemed to make my car run even worse. Felt like it my AC was on full blast and car had no power.

Any additives on the market that will save $$$ while taking into account the cost to buy the addictive itself? or should I just be lighter on the pedal?

Thanks,

I don't think those things really exist; even if they do, the price you spend on those additives will balance off the money you saved on gas.

If you engine system malfunctions due to those additives, warranty will not cover the repair.

A 20% increase in fuel economy is a TALL order and $77 to try it out (since that is the price of the smallest package) seems equally as tall.

The best PROVEN ways of getting better mileage is a surer bet -

* maintain your vehicle according to the manufacturer's service intervals - oil changes, tune ups, proper tire pressure...
* stop driving it like you stole it
* leave a few minutes earlier so you won't feel like you need to rush (see point above)
* take out the dead weight in your trunk - that hockey equipment that you haven't used in 3 months...
* do combination trips

If you want to try a few additives, I would suggest that you drop over to http://bobistheoilguy.com forums. Other than the crazy devotion to one engine oil additive/flush, they generally have good information about what is out there. Unfortunately, a lot of the good stuff is only available in the US.:cry:
