Got a letter in the mail today from my insurance company that they will not renew my insurance policy when it comes up for renewal next month. Reason stated was that i have not provided information required for proper rating or continued eligibilty. Called my insurance agent to clarify who immediately called the head office to be told that they do not have my wife's driver's licence # on file even though they know she has a G1. The agent was always aware that my wife had a G1 as i told him when i purchased the policy 6 months ago and he even put a note on file but never asked me for her licence #. They never asked me for her licence info and now they send me this letter. This is not right. Very distressing. I have not done anything wrong. What should I do?? Please advise.
