Can anyone kindly explain what is difference between n95-2 8gb or n95-3 8gb or n95-4 8gb............:confused:

I am just out of curious, those figure make me so confusing. thanks

N95-1: Original N95 which is silver with a soft-touch plum backing (only one to have it). Expandeable memory slot, weaker B5 battery, 2.6" screen, camera lens cover and Euro 3G.
N95-2: 8GB version with an all-black casing. B6 battery, raised multimedia buttons (all the next versions now have this), no camera lens cover (all the next versions now don't have this), 2.8" screen with Euro 3G.
N95-3: Same body as N95-1 but with either a red/brown/black backing. Stronger B6 battery, expandeable memory slot, 2.6" screen with North American 3G.
N95-4: Same as the N95-2 but with North American 3G.

That should be all you need to know. There were subtle differences in software due to firmwares, but with the newest firmwares installed, all should be on approximately the same level software-wise.

This has been bugging me of awhile, tigerdirect.ca is advertising the n95-3, but some of the (back) photos look like the n95-4

From the below photo which model is there? I see what looks like the memory card door, but I don't see the camera shutter which the n95-3 is supposed to still have right?

pnyknights, thats the N95-3. It can't be the 4 or 2 as those are all black. This is black/silver.

Yes, that is the N95-3, since it has a black backing. I did mention that all the models after the N95-2 (which includes the N95-3) do not have a camera shutter.
