Added December 18, 2008!!
Just got a 4870 X2 2GB card! As the cards above, this OEM card does not come in a retail box, but does come untouched in a static bag and with all cables and adapters (DVI, Crossfire bridge, etc,).
This sucker is a monster! Serious, hardcore gamers only need apply! Price on this one is $550 --> $500 --> $475 MUST MOVE AT $425 cash pick up.
I will consider offers, but be realistic: the cheapest price on a 4870 right now is at NCIX for the Diamond card at 589.99 (after instant rebate expiring 12/23 and a mail-in rebate) plus taxes and shipping. Please don't expect to offer $400 and expect me not to laugh.

I don't have a way to store a photo, but I found this image on the web. This is exactly what it looks like.

I'll match the promo price from NCIX: $170. Or, if you want to go SLI, I have 2 available for $330 (complete with Crossfire bridges and other cables)!
And you won't have to pay taxes. Or shipping. Or wait for it to arrive from Vancouver. :)

Price: [$190] $170 cash, no tax or stupid MIR. Get 2 for SLI for only $330. Local pickup only.
Price on this one: $285 cash!
ATI is called crossfire... not SLI.

Are you sure the 4870x2 is 1GB and not 2GB?

Actually, looks like you're right! I was assuming it was a 1GB card... there is no specification on the PCB as to the memory configuration, and since the card has never been installed, I haven't seen its memory reported in Windows.
Checking the specs at http://game.amd.com/us-en/unlock_radeonhd4870x2.aspx?p=2, it appears as if the card does indeed have 2GB of onboard memory.
Thanks for catching that!

No, sorry. It's an OEM card from my contact at ATI.
However, I have sold a number of video cards (among other stuff -- check my rating!) here, and I will tell you the same I've told everyone else:
This is a video card. They don't generally break under use. They do, however, arrive DOA sometimes. This card has not been "tested" by me, but it is assumed to have passed ATI QA, or they wouldn't have sent it to me.
But my personal guarantee is: If it is DOA, or something goes wrong with it in the first 60 days, I'll get you another card.

After 3 times being stiffed by "interested buyers" I'm dropping the price on this card to $425 just to get it sold.
First serious buyer to arrange a meeting at Dufferin/Hwy 7 area gets this deal.
