Hello everyone,

We are looking to renovate our kitchen. We need new cabinets, counter top....

It's not a big kitchen. L shaped and roughly about 10 x10. I would like custom kitchen cabinets (preferly maple) for a good cost. I have checked home depo, and Rona and IKEA. The prices are high or just ok.

Do you know of any company that could do the job for $5000/$6000 max including installation? We could manage the instalation, but if it only cost about 1000 I prefer to get it done as we don't have much free time and lots of other renovations....

Thanks for your assitance in advance.

We have found the most amazing manufacturer based in Mississauga. As mentioned in many kitchen reno threads, we had planned on importing on our own but he has his own factory in China, and his cabinets are in most custom homes in Mississauga these days.

If you would like to PM me, I can give you more info. All I can say is that including granite, lighting and a solid wood (no particle wood) I am paying about a third of what HD, Barzotti and Kitchen Designers quoted us without granite.

3 weddings. Can you please send me the contact information. I'm probably a year a way, but would be good to get the info up front. I was planning on using a custom guy up north who did out cottage, but this might be an easier alternative due to distance.

All those who PMd me have gotten responses.

I wish I had taken my camera when we toured the homes he's completed in Gordon Woods, so I could show you his work. I didn't, but I most certainly will.

You won't be sorry dealing with him.

He also makes some of the most stunning front doors I have ever seen (and yes the new house will have one!!)

Also available through him are Euro style insulated windows, I don't even know how to describe them, but hubby has changed our home plans to ensure they go into the new house :cheesygri , so they must be good..lol
