Has anyone tried the National Geographic Brand of Wireless Temp & Humidity device from Walmart? Any good? I need to check the humidity for better maintaining the hardwood floor, that why I want to get one. There are several models, but I think the $20 already have the features I need.

Where should we put the outdoor wireless sensor and the receiver (30M signal restriction)? On main floor hallway, 2nd floor hallway? Any sugestion which would give the most practical and accurate results?

Note: the thermstat on mainfloor center already shows me the current room temp. I guess I can put somewhere else, for 1st checking the house's humiditiy, and 2nd outdoor temp before I get changed to work. :)

You should put outdoor sensor in shadow, like balcony or isle between two houses.
