Flooded basement - ideas for dehumidifier?

I hear the wife call "Honey, there's a pool in the backyard by the entrance to the basement, do you think we have to worry about the basement flooding?"

Sadly it was the basement flooding (~1.5 ft) which caused the backyard pool. 3 days later....I have a new freezer thanks to kijiji (or craigslist - can't remember), but I have to replace my dehumidifier which also died in the biblical event. Any suggestions? There are no used (in good condition) ones for sale in Ott area that are reasonably priced, but then again, I don't consider $200+ for a dehumidifier reasonable since all they are is a compressor and refrigerating coils.
